Are you really committed to your business, but find you’re bogged down with the stuff that you just don’t enjoy.. you started your Company to make a difference and use your expertise … but you find you spend too much time on the nuts and bolts, rather than what you signed up for? Well, that’s where I can help….

I’m Jacky and I am an MBA qualified business professional with excellent planning, analytical and problem solving skills, and significant experience in change management across a wide range of business industries.

With great communication skills and ability to multi-task, I can help you with those things that you haven’t got time for, or just don’t enjoy doing.

Are you a solopreneur looking to scale your business and need to implement some processes to ensure consistency of approach, or are you a small business that now needs to review and improve its processes? Well, I’ve got the tool box to provide support and advice to help you become a better version of yourself

I have been recently providing support for a health coach in creating a new landing page, product pages and email marketing sequence so if you need help with this or someone to implement a customer relationship management system then why not get in touch

I absolutely love learning new things and enjoy doing online research, so if you need someone to search for content for your social media, to identify fab groups on Facebook or LinkedIn that you should be part of.. I can help with that.

Do you have all the materials you need to create your newsletter or a presentation, but just need the formatting done, or template made, well this is something you could ask me to do for you…..

…… as well as more traditional Personal Assistant tasks, freeing you up to concentrate on your core competences.

I believe you can do anything you set your mind to. I love problem solving, it gives me a great feeling of satisfaction, even if at times I have felt frustrated. I guess I’m just too stubborn to give up!

I also believe that to get the best results you need lots of different people with their differing experiences and ways of working and that using a virtual assistant helps you bring new ideas into your business, without having the expense of employing them on a permanent basis.

I’ve worked in a number of different industries. I left school and went straight into accounting.. hated it. It’s funny, I love creating complex formulas in Excel and doing simple programming, but numbers.. grrh!

After having my son and working in a few businesses providing management information and creating workflow systems, I decided to go back to university. Luckily my parents were really supportive and between them and my gran looking after Aaran, I managed to get an honours degree in business information systems, doing a year in industry, being the management interface in the design of a workflow system for Lloyds TSB..

After that I worked for 6 years in the automotive industry, planning the production line and then using continuous improvement tools such as kaizen, 7 wastes and 5 S to create better work flows and increase productivity and also went back to university part time to gain an MBA. When they moved the factory up North I went to work for EDF Energy (British Energy at the time) in their supply chain department, liaising with the projects teams and power stations to ensure we had appropriate supply chain systems in place to keep the stations running efficiently. I then moved into a continuous improvement role as a supplier development engineer and then into governance, risk and internal controls.. for the last 5 years.

So why did I leave… I was earning good money, the powers that be were happy with my work.. well, to be honest, I no longer felt challenged by my role, I didn’t feel that I was adding any value, I felt that people thought I was interfering rather than being supportive … all I’ve ever wanted to do is to help…..

So how did I get here…  Well, I was born in Bristol in the UK and was a corporate bod for nearly 30 years, but because I know what it’s like to not have a lot of money I made the decision that I wanted to pay off the mortgage as soon as possible, so I could have a bit more freedom. After paying off the mortgage in only 8 years, me and my partner decided to move to France and get out of the rat race.

I come from a working-class background, my dad was an engineer and my mum a cleaner, so I’ve had to work for everything I’ve got. I unexpectedly became a mother at 17, so life’s not always been a bed of roses! Not that I would change any of it.. I think these things have made me the person I am today, which is determined, delivery focused and a track record of delivering high quality results to tight timescales.

So, when I made the decision to leave my secure corporate job, I wanted to do something that made me feel challenged, that felt worthwhile and added value to others.

Because I knew what it was like to have to put away money each week to make sure I had enough to pay the bills, I wanted something that could also give me some financial stability!

And I needed something to keep me occupied and make me feel like I was achieving the things I had spent my life working towards and not wasting my potential.

Now I live in France, with my partner and these two little beauties.. and helping people like you to improve your business .. and I absolutely love it…
